Know what really grinds my gears??

Question

This may be TMI but is anyone else irrationally upset about the fact that everyone keeps saying not to worry about pooping during delivery?! I'd be mortified. Seriously I haven't hardly pooped during the entire pregnancy but I'm gonna poop during delivery? What kind of cruel joke is that?

I've worked in a delivery ward before and witnessed a lot of births. Most women do pass stool.. but the midwives quickly clear it away as it's happening and if they do that I promise you I've never seen a mother or any of her support people notice it happen. Don't stress, it's something you can't control and honestly when it's all happening I doubt it'll be what you're focusing on!

Its my 1st so im not sure if its true. My friends have told me that the feeling of birth is similar to the feeling of pooping... they did not poop however im like u... I dont know. I guess ill be embarrassed and laughing if that happens :)
