two hour glucose test?

I expected a three hour glucose test but my doctor said it's just a fasting two hour one, so does anyone know what that consists of?

I just did mine today and it only took 1hour. It's just drinking the glucose within 5min time then waitin an hour for blood work. If you don't finish the drink within the 5min, you have to start over or if you throw it up you have to start over as well. Not too bad, I had the orange flavor. After that you can only drink water.

I did the one hour and failed it so I had to do the 3hr(sucks) hope you pass your 1hr so you don't have to worry about it

I had the 2 hour fasting one - that's just the normal one for the doctor I go to. They drew blood at the beginning, middle, and end. Not too bad but I felt kinda nauseous having that much sugar on an empty stomach. I think the 2 hour is more reliable than the 1 hour, yet not as intense as the 3 hour.
