PUPPP????

Question

Could this be PUPPP? I'm 18 weeks and these last few days I've been breaking out in bumps on my sides, behind my knees, and on my inner arms and thighs. I have not done/eaten anything different so I don't think it's an allergic reaction. I called my doc and he just said to use chalomine and take Benadryl. The itching is driving me completely nuts! It's at it's worse at night. If any has experienced this please help!!!

Girl I feel your pain. I have the exact same thing going on.  It's driving me crazy. Gender scan confirmed a boy yesterday. So they aren't joking about that.  Hope you find some relief

I had PUPPS the last few weeks of my last pregnancy (more common with boys) and for about a month or so postpartum. It was awful - especially at night. Oatmeal baths helped but don't use water that's too hot - that will make the itching worse. Benedryl helped just to get me to sleep thru the worst of it, and calamine lotion helped too.

PUPPs is usually more red in nature (could just be your lighting though), although does sound like it. I had it with my first, but I never felt like my itching was terrible enough for medication. But it definitely can get pretty annoying and pretty itchy for some. Benadryl souls help a lot - some women need to go as far as steroids. You can try doing an oatmeal bath and cool, water compresses to help ease the itchying. I know it's hard but try your best not to scratch!
