My husband and I took our daughter to the hospital this morning because of severe coughing fits she has been having due to RSV. She weighed 10 lbs 5 oz at her ER visit earlier today. Anyway, I have been getting a lot of crap from family about how our daughter is too small for her age. She is currently 11weeks old and is EBF. Her pediatrician doesn't seem concerned about her growth, but my family insist I should supplement with formula. There is nothing wrong with my supply. I'm just so fed up with them thinking I'm somehow starving my daughter, cause she likes to eat every hour or every 3-4 hours depending on her mood. I just want them to support my decision or just keep their opinion to themselves. Any other breastfeeding mother's experiencing negativity with your decision to breastfeed?
