Support belt?

Im a smaller woman, and at 6 months pregnant it feels like my baby bump is pulling on my abdominal muscles when I'm standing. I've been unknowingly over compensating and not standing straight which then my back starts hurting. Today someone told me to get a belt. Didn't think about it before as I thought they were just stretching pains.

My question is for those of you women who used maternity support belts. Is it worth the investment? If so, what kind? I see ones that go above and under your belly. I see another that just sets under the belly. There are others.
