why is my babies poop green???

He is 5 days away from being 5 months. I breastfeed but the past 2 weeks I feed him apples then bananas then rice cereal... is it because he's new diet or should I be worried? I have an appointment on the 15th with his doctor

Does the rice cereal say it has iron added? Iron tends to make their poop green so normally formula does it but don't know what other reason it could be since u breast feed.

I breastfed babies, green poop is a signal of an imbalance in babies diet. The cereal or banana cities be causing this. Baby may not yet be ready for solids.

I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the new food but green is a good color for it to be anyways! Our little girl is 4 1/2 months and maybe once a week it will be green instead of the yellow color it normally is
