How did you know your significant other was the one?

So my boyfriend and I haven't been dating for a very long time but honestly I've dated men for almost 3 years and felt nothing like I do now.. I'm such a closed off person that it's very hard for anyone, even myself to figure out how I feel, but with him I just have a feeling that he's the one.. I would just love to hear other people's story's.

My boyfriend told me he was in love with me and wanted to marry me.
We had been dating 3 days at the time. I felt the same way about him.
It's been 3 years going on 4.

I just know he was the one.
I don't know what made me feel like he was the one. I just knew. Lol

It wasn't any one particular thing...it was everything and nothing. He just was and is. As long as I walk the Earth and beyond, there can never be another.

I just knew. I can't pinpoint when I realized he was the one exactly- it was sort of a gradual thing. I just remember waking up one day and knowing that he was it and no matter what happened I was going to love him forever.

The first time I seen him which was in 2009/10 ish. Lol. In our high school cafeteria and I remember telling my best friend at the time "he is going to be mine, some way some how." A year later we became friends and then after a few month we were inseparable and he turned into my best friend ever 5 years later we're finally dating. Lol. 
We found out senior year of high school we had been best friends as kids but our families drifted apart.

I knew I was going to marry my husband on our second date. We got married 6 months and 2 days after we met. When you know, you know. I don't think there's a time guideline.

After the third date with my now husband, I texted my friends and said I had met the guy I was going to marry. They thought I was nuts, but I just knew. The way he spoke about his mom and sisters and the way he treated me sealed the deal.

I had a thought before I was even dating my husband when I looked at him and thought that's gonna be my husband someday. I know it sounds cliche but it really happened, came out of nowhere and shocked the hell out of me lol. As for now some days I love him some days I hate him But im happy.
