How to naturally lighten your hair?

Please help, I want to try to lighten my brown hair, I've tried lemon juice 🍋 but it didn't really work. Anyone know anything that's natural or easy diy?

Sun in, used to work for me I'd put it in in the summer by the pool

Just be aware that by using lemon juices or peroxide, there is a very good chance your hair will end up with an orange coloring. If it was as simple as just adding something like that to lighten your hair, people wouldn't spend all the money they do at salons. Not to mention peroixide and lemon juice will really dry out your hair and can do some damage.

The sun 😂 you realistically you can't lighten dark hair up very much

I've used peroxide before. I put it in a spray bottle and dampened my hair with it. I let it set for a few hours and then conditioned my hair. I did it once every four days or so until it got to the shade I wanted it to be.

Lemon juice will work better if you're out in the sun or use sun it. The sun lightens my hair so much in the summer time
