Baby Shower question
I'm expecting my first child this summer and want to get the ball rolling on my shower. I have two older sisters with children and one younger sister (childless). I can't remember what we exactly did for my sisters because it was 7+ years ago. I'm wondering if I'm supposed to involve my husband's sisters in the planning of the shower. I obviously don't talk to them like I do my sisters, but should I (or my sisters) ask them to be involved? I plan on inviting my husband's aunts and cousins to the shower, but does that mean my family and I have to pay for everyone? We are from a small town in the Midwest so I'm just curious to see how others have done it. I plan on doing most of the work myself (creating invites, booking the venue, making decorations, ordering or making food), I just want others to take care of the RSVPs and basically just greeting/entertaining people at the shower. I'm not trying to be selfish, I just want to make sure they don't have too much to do since they all have kids of there own.
