Which would you choose?

Your a single mom that can provide for yourself but struggle. On one hand you have a man you love but not "in love" but know you will be content with him and financially stable.  On the other hand you have your best friend since childhood that you can't imagine not being in your life in love, but you would struggle financially. Which relationship would you choose not just for yourself but for your kids? ( both are great with the kids and the kids like both of them)

Neither. I'm going to wait it out till I find someone I am in love with and who's already financially stable.

Why do you feel pressure to choose? Feelings come and go. They change over time. It's best to give yourself space and time to decide who you prefer to be committed to. The rest of it doesn't matter. We can't control most things. Yet we can make our own choices.

I dont have it in me to just be content for financial stability. I would choose the person i am in love with even if he isn't financially stable because that can change. My SO didn't have much money when we got into a relationship and now he makes alot more so we are doing better financially. Plus i only have one life to live i want to soend it with someone i love and have my life be full of love because that to me is happiness.

I guess it depends on why you would struggle financially with the second guy. Is he in school but will be in a good field later down the line, or does he lack ambition? I wouldn't recommend marrying someone that you're not in love with, I.e, the first guy, just because he has more money. I understand your kids need to be provided for, but I'm not sure that's the solution.
