ummmm has anyone had cervical polyps????

So I had recently switched doctor within the last 3 weeks I was there 3 weeks ago and got a Pap smear done and then when I switched I was at the doctors and he told me I have one on my cervix why wouldn't the other doctor tell me that I'm freaking out rn about it...

My mom had severe endometriosis. It covered her uterus, ovaries, and pelvis. She's had about a dozen surgeries to remove the scar tissue but she kept having miscarriages so more would develop. If they found a polyp on your cervix they can remove it and shouldn't come back. Endo can develop from scar tissue from a miscarriage or unfortunately an abortion (I'm so sorry for your loss) but 1 in 3 women have it and usually don't even know it. Infertility is a major symptom but can be resolved with medication or removing of the scar tissue. They'll probably want to biopsy the polyp as well just to make sure what it is. Good luck!!
