Is your doctor ?

Question

My  female doctor retired so now I have to decide whether I want to continue attending the same doctor office in where there only two male doctors or travel 10 miles to nearest office with a female doctor that accepts my insurance. I just want to know how many of you have a male doctor

It depends on if you are comfortable with a male doctor. You could see how it goes and if you aren't comfortable with the male doc, make an appointment with the other office. I have a female doc now and she is awesome! I have had a male obgyn before and he was great as well, I moved so I had to find a new doc.

I have a female doctor. But that's only because I've been sexually assaulted so I do not feel comfortable with a male doctor as my gyno.

I have a male fertility doctor but my ob/gyn is female. I honestly don't mind either way but it's all about what you're comfortable with.

I generally see my midwife (a woman) whenever possible but since I'm not in charge of my insurance yet (was under my mom's insurance still) I didn't always have a kind they accepted so I found a gynecologist in my town that accepted it: he's a male doctor but he is really good and I'm very comfortable with him. Personally, I don't care whether the doctor I see is male or female so long as I'm comfortable with them and they do their job well. I've been to female gynecologists that I really did not like at all and never went back to. But I love my midwife and I go to her whenever I can.

Male and female doctors literally do the exact same thing so I really don't care whether they're a man or a woman.

I've had both a female and male doctor . Idc honestly . I'm there to make sure everything is okay . I don't see why girls get so weirded out by male obgyns . Never had a terrible experience with one . I have a male doctor now and he is amazing
