few days late, no BFP, slight discharge

My daughter will be 1 in May and we have decided to try for another now. I have tracked my cycle the past few years but fell off of it the past couple months (whoops lol). We decided to try this month but I was already mid cycle so I wasn't prepared and didn't know exactly where I was/when I was ovulating. I typically start my period the 1st or 2nd. But this month I am clearly a bit late. But with the shorter month I'm thrown off. I am technically 6 days late, have taken many tests (all negative), but today I had a very small amount of pink/clearish discharge. It was only one time and that normally doesn't happen. I typically wipe brown/red mucous the first time then immediately start my period. This didn't happen my first pregnancy. I guess I'm just looking for some hope and help.
