Omg!! My newborn doesn't want to sleep no where but on my arms!! Onces I lay him on the crib on any other bassinet he 😭 What can I do about this??

Have u tried swaddling? Newborns are used to being a little less free and sometimes being able to move their body wakes them. Hope this helps :-)

My daughter was the same way. I slept with a her blanket and made it smell like me and she finally would sleep on her crib.

Do not let your newborn cry it out. Look up the 4th trimester. Wanting to be in your arms 24/7 for at least the first 3 months it's completely normal.

If you do not comfort your child it will only learn that it isn't safe and cared for. Baby will give up...like being depressed. Not healthy at all. Try baby wearing and co sleeping.

Our daughter did the same thing. We used a swaddle sack and did a bed-share when she fussed, but still tried the bassinet next to the bed every night. One night, it just took. Be patient!

I also learned that, for her, even a little light when I tried to put her down was too much (so the night light I was using so I could see if losing her pacifier was the problem was actually causing part of the problem). Once I made it totally dark, she quieted down quickly. We still had a few bed-shares, but usually not until after a few hours of sleep.

I've seen where people take a glove, fill it with rice, sew it closed, and microwave it like a heat pack. Then they lay it on the baby. They can feel the warmth and weight of the "hand", and makes them feel like you're still there.

My daughter was the same when she was born. I didnt plan on cosleeping bt i had a csection n it was easier for me. Dear lord now i have a 19 month old who still cosleeps with me n has to take a nap with me in my arms and on top of that im going on 7 months pregnant this one is definetly going in the crib lol i mean sometimes its comforting bt most of the time im hanging off the bed with an arm asleep n shoulder in pain. Swaddling is great thats what i plan to do with my second n use the swing n rock n play . Good luck 🙂

I have the thing call a rock n play my son slept in it for about 2 weeks after he got home from the hospital. It was more coformed to his body. Kinda like swaddling but he hated swaddling. It vibrated and he loved that. He also just enjoyed laying in it during the day.

my son was the same way....the moment i put him in his crib he was awake and crying.....i gave up and co slept for the first six months....i wasnt going to risk my sleep just cause he didnt like his crib.
