who still lays on their back during the day??

I'm 15 weeks tmrw and my friend told me I can't lay on my back after 13..is this true 🤔

My obgyn told me ABSOLUTELY no sleeping on my back or tummy. That was when I was 12 weeks. I still do. My mom told me to sleep however I'm comfortable, and that my body will tell me when I shouldn't. And I switched doctors. I will now be seeing midwives. I have a nurse appointment tomorrow, so I guess I'll ask her tomorrow, when I'll be 19 weeks. Get a 2nd opinion.

My doctor told me to try and start trying not to lay down on my back starting now (18 weeks) and absolutely no laying on back by 20 weeks.

I try to sleep on my side, but sometimes I need to lay on my back for comfort, 21w1d. I flip a lot. My doctor hasn't said anything to me about it. 
From what I've read, it's best to sleep on your left side, but don't stress about it so much that you can't sleep. Yes, the pressure of the baby and uterus can press on an artery, but both you and the baby need you to get your rest.

I sleep on my back some nights. I'm 19 weeks. Can't sleep on my front anymore because it's uncomfortable. It's to do with baby laying on a major blood vessel.i put a pillow under my knees for comfort.  I don't feel it's uncomfortable yet.

Everything I've read online has a range between 18-24 weeks to stop laying on your back. I think it depends on how large you are, because the risk is cutting blood flow to the baby or pinching a nerve. I'm 17 weeks today and I still sleep on my back from time to time cause it's the most comfortable. I'll probably transition out when I get bigger. Just don't know when.

So when I lay on my back for my appointments am I breaking the rules lol. I lay on my back when laying in bed and not sleeping otherwise I sleep on my left side

I find it more comfortable to sleep on my side but watching tv or just lounging I'll lay on my back. I'm 18w with twins. I go this Friday to the doctors so I'll ask but I've never heard it's a bad thing.
