postpartum check up

Do they do a internal exam at this check up? I'll get mine at 6 weeks post vaginal delivery. I'm just so nervous about having a internal exam. I did have a second degree tear so I'm assuming they will want to look to make sure it looks ok, but don't want them to use the speculum. 😵
