Seriously?

Why do some women say "oh you had a c-section that's easier"! I've heard this and other forms of a c-section isn't real childbirth! Umm hello 1. I want to slap whoever says this stuff; 2. I was cut open in a not so fun place to get my baby out and recovery is a bit harder and 3. Maybe it wasn't by choice so STFU please! Ugh anyone who thinks this is wrong and needs to learn and think before speaking. Ok rant over! 👊🏼

I had a c section by choice last August  and will be having another this Autumn. People may say it's easier and to be honest it was. I recovered super fast, had no pain and loved it. I still don't think my choice should be judged. People spend too much time worrying about what others are doing. For people that say 'people have being having babies naturally for thousands of years' I reply with ' they used to amputate limbs without anaesthetic but you wouldn't allow that' normally shuts people up.

I Had An Emergency C Section. That Pisses Me Off When Women Who Had Vagina Births Say That Because We Have Labor Pains JUST LIKE THEM , Only Thing That's Different Honestly Is That Our Healing Process Is Tougher &. Harder . So I Guess That Makes Us STRONGER 💪🏽💯💅🏽🙏🏽

I think they say this because they think we didn't go through any labor, and some c sections don't, and there fore it is less painful and easier. I think they also don't understand how serious of a surgery it is because it is so common and we are expected to go back to life with additional duties. I hate it when people tell me this. I litterally almost died on the table and wasn't aloud out of my hospital bed for 36 hours. Tell me again how that was easy!

😂😂😂😂😂 is my honest reaction. We had an absolutely horrendous experience! My induction failed and I had to have a c section at 41+6. As my son was big with a 98th percentile head circumference, he was wedged in my pelvis to such an extent that my cervix was trapped and couldn't change. It took over an hour for then to do the spinal block as I was unable to lean forward enough as I was so pregnant and my nerves are a bit weird- they hit all sorts of different ones which gave me electrical shock like pains and my legs kept kicking. Eventually another consultant came and I was literally hauled forward to do it- I begged them to as I was just desperate by this point. They then had to make a bigger incision to pull him out as he was so stuck. I had this major surgery after being in hospital 48 hours, being examined every 4. I'd had no sleep. It was awful.

This time I'm having an elective c section. I will have more growth scans so baby will come out at a point where it won't cause anaesthetic complications or a bigger surgery than needed. It is not an easy option!!! I'm dreading the recovery but hoping it won't be as bad as last time as I'll be more rested and they're doing everything they can to ensure a better experience.

I'm 5"3 and petite. My son was 98th percentile head circumference and length and 9lbs 4oz. I physically could not give birth to him. I desperately wanted a natural water birth. It was not 'the easy way out'.

I done both. The csections were for worst. I was in labor for 26 hours natural birth, 20 hours, csection. Failed Vbac 30+ hours. Then had a csection that longer than expected due to scar tissue. I was on that table for an 1 hour while they cut and burned a lot of off. Lets not talk about the walking around less than 9 hours after being gutted. Then worrying about not getting a blood clot in your lungs. Pushing my 9lb 4oz was less worrisome. I just had to work on tightening stuff back up. 😅😛😘

I get this rant so much! After and abruption and then a gong show in the or i was lights out and woke up to having a baby yet my sister has the gall to say "well you dont have them naturally anyway"

Umm yes. Your right. Nothing natural about having my husband help me shower because i cant stand. Then have to catch me in the shower because i close my eyes to get my hair wet and pass out (that was the drugs likely). Nothing natural about not being about to laugh cry or cough without pain. But thanks for your judgement. Lol

Who cares how i had my baby? He's alive and healthy. And same with me. Thats what matters to me.

I had a c-section and it was by choice. I had twins and my twin b was breech. I could have tried vaginally, but it was risky and I ran the risk of having to deliver one each way.  I was glad I elected for a c-section because when I needed one a few days earlier than planned due to preeclampsia I was mentally prepared for it.

This bothers me to NO end. I have a mommy friend who I was talking to, saying I'm worried about this pregnancy and if I'll be able to do a VBAC or if I'll need another csection, because it's scary and I have trauma after it.
She then went on to say she's more afraid because her first was born so quick, she is scared it'll be born faster and maybe even born at home 🙄🙄
Yeaaah, a home birth is soooo much scarier than the risk of uterine rupture or being cut open, risk bleeding out on the table. Way worse!!! I was in labor 22 hours before I had an emergency csection. 19 of them natural. Her 8 hour birth was taken care of by an epidural.
I hate comparing births, but I mean, really? She was SO lucky and has no idea. Csections are harder and come with more complications. It's just fact.

I have never had a c section and hope I don't ever have to it terrifies me to be cut open like that. I think that any ok next who have to have one are brave women cause u never know what's gonna happen or if everything it's ok till after and u have to get epidural I didn't like the way the epidural made me feel with my first and never got it again I felt so out of it the pain of having a natural birth goes away so much faster I've heard c section s pai. is way worse

I hate when ppl say crap like that! I had an emergency c section and am having to have another one this go round. I gave birth!! I don't freaking care what anyone thinks! A child exited my body and I sacrificed a heck of a lot more by undergoing surgery. And not to mention recovery sucked. Ppl are literally so ignorant. And I almost guarantee every person who says it has never had a c section either. We are all mothers and who cares how another person brought a baby into the world. Ppl need to find freaking happiness so they'll quit downing others life saving decisions!
