Mixed baby's race on birth certificate?

My daughters father is Lebanese and I'm white. I want to include his ethnicity in hers on the birth certificate but not sure what exactly I would put? Biracial? Lebanese Caucasian? Just wondering what others have done for their mixed babies. Thanks!

I believe if your not married it goes the same as the mothers race. If you are the mother and the father is taken into consideration. Thats how it was in my state. It mY be different elsewhere.

My husband is half Lebanese and half Black while I'm white so we are trying to figure that out as well. We want to make sure she is proud of where she came from.

This is interesting because my husband is about 75% Lebanese but we live in Brazil. He always said that if he had to fill out those forms in the US, he wouldn't know what to fill in because they don't give an option for anything like that. And he's very pale so it's not like it's obvious that he would not be considered Caucasian. This is our first child and since it will be born in Brazil, I have no idea what the hospital paperwork is like. Guess we'll find out.
