Does this look like ringworm?

No. Not ringworm. Does it seem to be bothering your little one? Ringworm is EXTREMELY itchy and VERY contagious.

It's most likely a patch of dry skin indicating that the pores are starting to open up. It's called slap cheek and my daughter has it from time to time. Nothing to worry about :) maybe try keeping baby in a humid environment or moisturize the skin.

Not sure if it's similar it's hard to tell on the pic but I noticed in that exact spot my boy has tony veins becoming more visible

Looks like a hive in its final stages. My daughter had hives and it started like a mosquito bite, then went red, then only the outer edge was red before it went away. Not sure, but looked very similar.
