could it be twins?

Went to my doctors appointment it was my first one they were looking for heart beat couldn't really find it with the Doppler kind of all over the place. Sounded it like heart beat was one side of my belly then two seconds later all the way on the other side could it be two or is baby just a fast swimmer and was moving all over really fast 😂. I just got intuition it's two but could b wishful thinking. He scheduled an emergency ultrasound for tomorrow morning.  What you think any same experiences with multiples or singleton
