Do you need to wear foundation to contour and highlight?

I'm really starting to get into makeup and I was wondering if you needed to wear foundation to highlight, I personally don't need it and can never find a color to match, so is it necessary?

It helps to make it look blended but you can use BB cream if anything.

No ma'm you don't . If you're starting out I would just wear basic foundation mascara etc . And when you get that down you can experiment with highlighter /contour . (:

I think it helps a lot! I have clear skin and don't need foundation but it just doesn't look the same without it in my opinion

Get color matched. It's a huge help. Sephora does it.
