I haven't officially decided to exclusively pump, I'm still trying to nurse but my baby won't latch well unless I have the nipple shield on and with it on he doesn't transfer very much from me. He also is lazy at the breast so I've also been pumping after every time I nurse and giving him a bottle with breast milk. So I'm thinking about making the switch to EP. I have been pumping every three hours now for 15 minutes and getting about 3-4 oz.. how long would you recommend I pump for if I switched to EP? Also how much milk do you feed your babies, he is 3 weeks old and I've been doing 2 oz every 3 hours so that adds up to 16 plus whatever he gets from nursing.. would you do 3 oz every 3 hours at this age? Thanks!!
