doula

Y'all I just have to share that I feel so blessed. I was offered a doula (the place I interviewed with) for free yesterday! I know it's late in the game to get a doula at 37 weeks! We moved 8 hours from family so it's just me and the SO so I'm so glad to have someone to help calm me down! My husband had a son 10 years ago while in high school so it was a blur to him. I know he can't stand seeing me in pain and I honestly think the doula will help keep him calm so I stay calm! I'm a huge baby when it comes to pain! He was hestitant about the doula taking away from him being my partner for birth but I keep explaining that won't happen! Has anyone else used a doula???
