Trust again?

Question

I'm gonna make this plain and simple. If someone cheats and lies. Do u stay with them and give them a second chance even if they're truly "sorry" ? What are your thoughts/opinion. Anything helps.

I personally wouldnt. I barely have enough confidence in myself to trust my boyfriend when he hasnt done anything none the less when proven he has. I could personally never. Once a cheater always a cheater in my opinion. I wouldnt let them disrespect me like that, and continue to disrespect me by dating them. Theres absolutely no excuse for cheating.

I can say that if my mom had left my dad my life would be considerably different and I'm very blessed she was strong enough to forgive him and stay with him and he has become such an amazing man because of his mistakes and has changed a lot of lives by helping others through similar situations. Not everything is black and white there's a lot of grey areas where you need to decide what's best for you, your life and your future even if others wouldn't make the same decision. I know not every case is like my parents but there are ones like it and staying and working through the problems doesn't make you weak in fact that's the hardest and most challenging thing you can do and you're incredibly strong for that decision as well.

Not everything is black & white. I believe in grey areas. When I was in college me & my boyfriend were both unfaithful to each other. I'm forever thankful for the forgiveness & understanding we showed each other, though sometimes it was rough & felt like we couldn't get through it. Now we have a beautiful baby boy, a home, & a marriage. I could not imagine him not being in my life as my best friend & my life long partner💘

What i did was i told them to get their act together and a couple years later if you feel they have changed try again. Make them realize you won't take but so much. 
If they don't want you back later then they weren't special enough for you.
