costs of an iui?

So after having an hsg test, blood work and husbands semen check my gyn is referring me to and fertility specialist to talk about iui. I already know that my insurance doesn't cover the costs for it. Only meds if they can be picked up on our military installation. So I'm just curios to know if any of you had to pay out of pocket? And how much it was in total? I'm aware that it may be different from state to state. But I'm just trying to get an idea!
