Can we all agree that middle school is the roughest years of our lives emotionally?

I personally thought 7th grade was hell. Mainly because puberty and the world renown "emo-phase" I was hitting my tween/teen years and I already hit my rebellious phase at age 8 because of divorce .

Honestly, the worst was high school up until junior year as far as emotions. Puberty was more in full swing than ever. I def don't want to be reminded of middle school because it still sucked but it wasn't as much of a whirlwind/ rollercoaster.

I cried constantly for no real reason, and I had a bad attitude, so I was constantly in trouble at home which made me hate going home after school

7th grade was THE WORST year of middle school for me. Middle school was just an awkward, terrible time all together. I had frizzy hair and someone EVERY DAY had to come up to me and be like "your hair is frizzy" like wtf am I supposed to say to that?  Now, id be like "k cool thanks fuck off". Also, my "friend" told everyone in our grade that I liked my friend. He was so cute and he got really popular in 7th grade. I didn't know how to dress, and I didn't know how to do make up. Also, my best friend started like the same guy and she began to act bitchy and distant toward me. Ugh it was just the worst. I couldn't wait to get middle school over with. Nah middle school was okay to me. High school sucked balls though. Especially my sophomore and junior year. I ended up switching schools because I was an emotional wreck.

Started in 7th grade and prob went all the way to 10th. You don't realize it at the time but your so unsure of yourself and how others view you. It's comical to look back on it now, but I just hope I can instill enough confidence in my child so that have it a bit easier.
