3 weeks post partum
So a few days ago, this came out, and its pretty big. This morning when I was using the bathroom, I heard a drop in the toilet and something similar came out but it was much smaller. FTM here so this is all new to me, is this normal?

They say only be worried if they're close to golf ball size, blood clots are normal PP.  if you're really worried then call your doctor!

They say to call and check if golf ball size. If your soaking a pad within 15 min continously or more than 4 pads in an hour my doc suggested going to er. Also if your feverish, clamy, dizzy or just not right then it could mean going to er. If the bleeding is normal or slows back to normal after being really heavy the docs usually just want you to monitor it at home. I passed fist size and golf ball sized clots at 6/7 weeks pp and kept bleeding but not soaking through pads. I did have placenta fragment but wasn't bad enough to cause major hemorrhage luckily. They wanted to do a d&c but I put it off and actually passed the fragment so now bleeding has stopped. It can happen but if you're really bleeding bad they will strongly push for d&c.

I would call the doctor and make sure😱.  If you are bleeding or anything, make a call and get checked.   If it was smaller and looked like greenish mucus. That would be ur mucus plug.

Clots are completely normal. If they're the size of a golfball or bigger I would go to the ER. But if not, then I wouldn't worry about it.
