Labor?

Im getting sharp pains in my lower back & cramps in my lower stomach and upper vagina area. What could it be?

When you are in labor and having real contractions you (most likely ) know! It was sooo painful for me by the time I went to the hospital. I couldn't even walk anymore! Good luck! (:

Pain depends on whether your water is intact or not. My first my water broke and then contractions started and they where undeniably contractions. But my second my water didn't break and it didn't hurt. I noticed they where regular and thought so wierd. Eventually started timing them bc they where constant. When they where 8 min apart I dropped my oldest off with neighbor and went to hospital and was 7cms and 100% effaced. So obviously I was in labor for a while but had no idea bc they didn't hurt at all and was so different. Time them if they come constantly and close time to go in.

Everyone says you'll know, but I honestly wasn't sure. I woke up at 3AM with back aches and what felt like when you have to poop really bad, so I thought it was just that. Then I realized it kept happening every 10 minutes, but even then I wasn't entirely sure until I peed and there was pink mucous when I wiped. Sorry if TMI.
