It's coming up to the 12 month mark of TTC without any success. Been talking to my OH about seeing a doctor in the next few cycles if there is no luck. 
Just wondering what we should expect at our first appointment?
Feeling pretty disheartened right now 😭

It took me a year after my miscarriage usually it never takes that long after a miscarriage for me. I started taking vitex, my-inistol and a good probiotic and I got pregnant. Vitex has helped me to get pregnancy twice. You should check it out, google vitex and fertility.

Is your husband on medication for depression or anxiety? Some can cause sperm to basically not exist. My husband is and we weren't getting pregnant so I had him switch his medicine because I read many studies and articles reporting infertility in men. Once he switched it took us two months to get pregnant. Good luck with your appt. it's devastating when all you want to be is pregnant and you see that negative. Hoping you get your positive soon! My first appointment was an exam to make sure everything was in order downstairs and blood work as well as a consultation letting me know what our first attempt would be. The first attempt usually doesn't work so don't stress. My doctor calls it the trial run. They test a medicine to see how you respond and then if it works they will stick with that for another month but if it doesn't then they try something new based on how exactly you responded to the medicine. For example, my first month was just Letrozole 5mg and I didn't respond to it at all. So my second month was Letrozole 7.5mg, Gonal-f injections, ovidrel trigger shot, and progesterone supplement. It worked that time! (I'm warning you about the first month because no one warned me. They just got my hopes up and so it crushed me more when it didn't work.)

Don't give up. It took my husband and I 16 months to conceive. I'm now 9 weeks pregnant 😊 it sounds cliche but it really will happen when the time is right.
