I am being induced tonight and I am so scared and anxious! I'm terrified that something is going to go wrong. This is my firs baby. I am 40 weeks exactly, and I'm being induced because my doctor is going out of town for 10 days, but there's been no complications with my pregnancy. I lost my mucus plug two days ago. I was hoping someone could give me some encouragement as I'm starting to freak out and I need to remain calm.

We recently moved to this area and besides my SO I have no friends or family close by. I am also born and raised in Europe, so giving birth here in the states is a little intimidating to me as I'm sure you can understand.
