I'm so confused.

I'm 3 weeks postpartum, I haven't had heavy bleeding at all & I haven't bleed much at all recently & when I have it was spotting & a dark brown color. But today I started bleeding a little heavier (not heavy but more than usual) & it was red & kind of with the consitancy of mucus with it. Is it normal to go back to a red color after you have gotten to a brow color? I haven't completely stopped bleeding yet, just the brown spotting recently until today when it went back to red. What's going on? Help? I'm so ready for this to be over, it's so annoying lol.
