Okay so there's a guy I've been speaking to for a looong time and we got REALLY close. But I've just noticed he's unfriended me on litrally everything, I don't know what I've done and it's really upset me. But I have no idea whether to ask him about it because we were never official. However I did care about him and I thought he felt the same... but now it feels like he kind of used me.

Should I let it go and give up or should I ask him about it?

Update: I decided to ignore him, but recieved a message a few hours later saying how he doesn't need me and has found someone better and hotter. I didn't know he was that shallow, from now on I will ignore him and have blocked him on social media. Thank you everyone for the advice x
