Bumbo seat yes or no?

Question

I've read a lot of different articles about the Bumbo seat, some saying it's good some saying its bad... My daughter is two almost three months and she LOVES to sit when someone's supporting her, so I just got a used Bumbo with the activity part for $5 ($30 cheaper than in store heck yah!) but now I've become hesitant to use it.. I don't want to hinder her ability to learn gross moter skills...

Do you guys use the Bumbo seat or have you? Tell me your reason as to why or why not and if you did if your LO liked it!

Our occupational therapist said they are horrible. It puts baby's back in an incorrect posture.

Don't get the bumbo get the fisher price sit me up! I got it and my 2 month old loves it!

Bad for baby's physical development. He/she shouldn't be propped in that position before muscle development. It can throw things off for further development too.

We started using it at about 8 weeks. She was able to sit up on her own at 5 months so we quit needing it then. I didn't see any harmful effects except she figured how to arch her back and get out of it. She wasn't a chubby baby so a little dangerous but we never left her alone.

We only used the bumbo at 6 mo when my LO started eating solid foods bc it was easier than our high chair at the time. It took less space. So she only spent 10-15 minutes in it at a time. Probably use dit for 2 months. Worth it for this purpose! I wouldn't use it for a little baby just to have somewhere to put them though.

My son never liked them 😭 and his legs are skinny so he can wiggle out.

Got fisher price sit me up baby in it at 3 months. Started sitting on his own at 5 but still use it when at nannys for lunch. Hes a small 13 month old now.

We got the Bumbo floor seat at 3 months, but didn't really start using it until we started solids at 4 months. My little girls thighs got too fat for it by 6 months, and I then bought the Bumbo 3 in 1 seat and I love it! It can be used up to age 3 and I wish I got this one all along and skipped the foam floor seat all together. Violet has been sitting up unsupported since 5 months so I don't believe it causes delays.

What is meant to be wrong with them? I have the ingenuity baby seat for my girl which is pretty much the same thing. She's only just about able to sit in it now. She's 4 months.
