We are just because we are to inherit property and it was requested by our families. Plus people tend to get nasty when money is involved when it is divorce or death.

If it's appropriate for the situation....like if one of them comes from a long line of wealth (old family money), then yes I think a pre nup is essential.

Yes I would, but my husband and I didn't. We were both teens with literally nothing of our own but a shitty car and clothes 😂 but if I were rich or my SO I'd have no issue with a prenup. I don't think a spouse is entitled to what his/her SO collected before marriage.

No, we don't need one, we share everything and will be together forever. To me, signing shows that the two aren't truly committed to each other and are expecting the worst.

Nope... We've been together since 18 and had a joint account from day one of running away together before we knew each other at all really... we literally built our lives together and there is nothing one of us have that we would have without the blood sweat n tears of the other... we legit went from no money living in a car bathing on beach to forming a life buying a house and having more than many... a prenup would do nothing for either of us since we both came into it with nothing but each other. If something was to happen it would be a discussion since everything we have had been a joint effort.
