not crawling?

My dd will be 10 months old on the 18th. She was 6 weeks early and the doctor told me that she has 6 extra weeks to do things but I'm still worried. She's not crawling or pulling up on furniture still. She can say about 4-5 words and wave bye and clap and I know some babies do things in their own time but I was just curious if anyone else has this issue?

some babies just skip the crawling phase and go straight to walking.

I understand worrying. My LO will be 10 months on the 19th. She was 3 weeks early. She is also not crawling but has always hated tummy time and being on her knees. She sits very well and scoots all over the place/ tries to get into everything. She can pull herself up to stand when she grabs my hands but hasn't fully figured out that she can use other things to do that. She is not cruising yet, but balances pretty well  when standing if I help her get into that position. Her pediatrician said that babies do things are different rates and that they all have areas of strength and weakness. Also, not all babies crawl! Her areas of strength are fine motor skills and communication. She says mama, dada, baba (bottle), numnum (food), kitty, and yayaya (to protest.) She sways back and fourth to dance, imitates kisses, flaps to wave and is starting to clap. It's hard not to worry , but your baby will develop at their own pace. You can help them along by incorporating practice with the skills they need to work on during play time. The rest will fall into place.

My baby doesn't crawl yet either, she turns 10 months today actually.. and she doesn't crawl nor stand yet. It gets me nervous because I see babies on here walking since 8 months

It's ok I feel like each baby is interested in different things! Your baby might just be watching you walk around and only want to do that lol hard to compare babies for the first year even 2 years since they each learn differently and at different paces. Doesn't mean a baby is behind or anything just may not be interested!

My oldest daughter never crawled she just pulled up and took a few steps on her own! It was around 10-11 months by her first birthday she was a pro at walking! However my second just started crawling and pulling up she will be 10 months on the 24th. They all are different don't worry! My niece was born at 32 weeks at 3.1lbs she is now 1.5 years old will be 2 in June and just now walking but still very tiny! Only weights 20lbs as of last Friday! My 9months old is at 18lbs!

She might just skip crawling altogether. My 10 month old crawls like a pro, but can't say any words yet at all or clap. They all do things at different speeds
