SUPER GROSS!! is this a dieing plantar wart?

I've never had a wart before so when I got a pedicure I didn't know it was a wart that showed up a while after. I ignored it because I thought it was nothing so after a year had passed I noticed it became bigger so that's when I went to the dermatologist and they said it was a cluster wart now so they scraped and froze it. I've been getting it scraped and froze since October 2016 and it has not seemed to work! So I took matters into my own hands because going every month to the doc was getting pricey. I've been using apple cider vinegar on it. This pic is after 2 applications of the apple cider vinegar and it's definitely becoming less painful. But for anyone that knows what a dieing wart looks like. does it look like my wart is dieing?

I used apple cider vinegar on a wart I had last year. I would take a bit of cotton ball the size of the wart, drench it in Apple cider vinegar, and duct tape it to the wart completely sealing it in. I did this every morning and evening before bed. I think mine took about 2 weeks and burnt like h*ll but it worked. Hasn't come back since

One time my dr prescribed me metronidazole for a different ailment that I was going through. Well I had a planters wart at the time. I took the whole course of antibiotics and I swear my wart was Gina a week after finishing the antibiotic. And I tried everything to get rid of that nasty bastard for probably close to four PAINFUL years. And just like that it was gone. It's not what metronidazole is prescribed for but I wish there was a way I could report that it worked for that so that they could study it for treatment of planters warts cuz it worked

The freezing treatments are usually pretty good if performed consistently every 4 weeks... aggressive freezing with a blistering response is ideal. Warts are the hardest thing to treat in dermatology because it's such a resistant virus. Between treatments we have patients pumice, clip and wear duct tape over the site. Some practices have a v-beam laser that also is another option (pricey though). There are oral medications however the doctors are not quick to prescribe it because of the side effects (liver) but if your young and healthy without a history of liver problems It could benefit you. I've never seen a wart vanish in just a few treatments so part of me wants to say keep going! But I know it's frustrating.

I've been getting these for years on and off!!! I've gone to many dr appts and it never works. I literally had a cluster that was like 100 once before, it was nasty. However!!, duct tape suffocates them! It takes like 1-2 months but it will go away. I have one right now and I'm a few weeks in and I can tell it's dying.

For the wart to die the roots (the black) has to come to the surface of the skin. Once the black is gone the wart is healed.
