General ttc

According to this app af was due on Saturday 3/11 when I told it I didn't start it changed the date to today 3/13. Af still has not arrived and the app has changed my start date to Wednesday 3/15. So I have a couple of questions. Does anyone else have this issue with the app? And when should I test? I don't want to test too soon and be broken hearted. My husband and I have been TTC for 2 1/2 to 3 years now
