Doctors office drama...
Because of an internal mix-up, my doctors office sent me a last minute paper letter saying they were cancelling one of my appointments and I had to take an ultrasound appointment at the hospital (they have an app that they could have used instead but that's a different story). I had to call out of work last minute explaining the doctors office mix-up, but went to the appointment at the hospital and baby girl is exactly where she should be.
Now my doctors office is saying that I need to reschedule the appointment with them just so that I can come in for 15 minutes for them to weigh me and take my blood pressure. I tried to decline and say that we can cover it in next months appointment since we already know baby is fine and my blood pressure and weight are fine- I don't want to take another morning off work and spend another $200 toward my deductible for no new information- but they're giving me a hard time about it. Am I being unreasonable wanting to skip this appointment? I understand having a child means sacrifice- but that's why I want to save my sick time for when I really need it vs wasting it on essentially just a weigh in and blood pressure check...
