Anyone stopped taking the pill and have no idea what is going on?

Hi all

I have been taking the pill since I was 17 and I'm now 31. Spontaneously decided it was TTC and tried straight away. I had my first period a week from finishing and fairly certain I ovulated soon after.

I have been feeling average with pregnancy signs and symptoms (nausea, excessive bloating, food aversions, enlarged boobs, fatigue +++, CM is very unusual). I've had cramps for over a week now which is unusual

I've taken a few tests but hard to tell as lines are faint and two tests didn't work at all!!!!!

It's so hard to know what my cycle will be like but feel like it is positive. Has anyone else had the same issues? I have no idea what is happening or when to test as all very new and confusing!

Has anyone had zero idea what is going on with their body straight after going off the pill?

Currently in the same situation! I stopped taking BC in January and my period came soon after but never returned again.  I am now on CD 62 and I am so confused! I sometimes feel pregnancy symptoms and I got a yeast infection which I never had one before in my life.  Took a whole bunch of pregnancy tests and they all came out negative.  Going to see my gyno Thursday so that I can get answers.  Good luck to you!

I was on the pill for 15 years before we had #1. I must admit, I felt like it took a good few months for my body to get back to normal, or for me to even remember what 'normal' was as it was so long ago! I was obsessive about signs and things, what I did learn is that your body feels totally different depending on where you are in your cycle. I never took any notice of this when I was 16!

If you think you may be pregnant, stock up on cheap tests and use them. It's difficult to know the right time to test at first but if they're cheap you won't waste huge amounts of money.

I was 'trying' straight away but took 7 cycles to get pregnant. It took that long to learn when I ovulated and about cervical mucus and such things. I also got pregnant the month after I felt I was normal and had a normal (for me) flow and period pains.

I got pregnant with #2 within 3 months as I knew what to look for and my body didn't take long to adjust after only being back on the pill a year.

Anyone stopped taking the pill and have no idea what is going on?
