Help?

This is my first month using clear blue advanced ovulation kit, below is what I have experienced...

Cycle day 12- blank circle 
Cycle day 13 - Solid smiley (stayed for 48hours)
Cycle day 15 - blank circle
Cycle day 16 - flashing smiley
Cycle day 17 - flashing smiley

I'm totally confused with it, on cycle day 14 which was within the 48 hour period I noticed the egg white cm, last night (cycle day 16) I noticed some really think white cm and today cycle day 17 it's clear and watery

Any advice ladies?

Did you start using on the correct day according to cycle length? For example: if cycle is usually 28 days, you're supposed to start testing on CD8. They also say once you get the solid smiley face not to test anymore that cycle. 
I know that your results were confusing so I would say try it again next cycle. I used those and the cheap wondfo ones. When I got the flashing smiley face, I would test that evening with the cheap one to see what it showed. 
I would also chart your BBT (basal body temp). It should rise AFTER ovulation and stay high the second half of your cycle.
