Lower back pain?

I woke up in the middle of the night with back pain that feels like period pain. I went back to sleep and I still have it this morning. I'm 17 weeks. Is that normal or should I call my doctor?

Well it's not gone away all day and I also feel some period type cramping in my belly too, so I think I'm going to call my doc in the morning.

Normal. Try stretching, yoga, visit a chiro take a warm bath

Is it on one side or both? I have terrible sciatica pain on my right side. I would try a heating pad and see if that helps a little. If not, bring it up with your doc
