HSG tomorrow-any tips?

For me it wasn't the cannula that heart. I had a missed miscarriage that resulted in a D&C so my cervix was okay but the dye stung a bit. Definitely take ibuprofen before and breathe. It doesn't last that long thankfully!

I took 2 ibuprofen 2 hours before the procedure. Then when they're inserting the cannula I tried to do the box breathing technique. Try to clear your mind and relax your pelvis as much as possible. The doctor said they haven't seen someone as relaxed as I was. But believe me, I was terribly scared to feel the pain. Good luck and wishing you clear tubes! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

Everyone says it's not that bad for me it was because they inserted it 4 times . (Tube wasn't function dye was imputed in correctly ) and so on. So mine hurt . But to be honest the first time they inserted it , it wasn't bad, the blue dye is what feels uncomfortable , just relax think of something (I was counting) 😂😂. And no sex. Get lots of rest and fluids nothing more to it . 😁 goodluck
