Nexplanon implant

Who has the nexplanon implant? Do you still use condoms to prevent pregnancy? (I know condoms are good to prevent STI's more so if you're already on birth control) but I'm just curious if you feel like they're needed just to be safe? Also how are your periods? I had mine last month for 17 days and now it's 5 and a half weeks later and I still haven't gotten another one. I've had nexplanon for 6 months now
