IUI - How many rounds before BFP?

Question

Hi everyone! My husband and I are excited to start with IUI (unexplained infertility). Just so we can have realistic expectations, I'd like to know your experience with it 😊

Everyone is different but we concieved firdt try of iui... did clomid days 5-9 and trigger shot on day 13 day 15 we did the oil and I got my bfp  11days after ♡
Currently 34+4 pregnant with a little boy♡

IUI was a blessing for my husband and I! We got incredibly lucky and the first one did the trick. I have mild pcos and he has mild sperm issues, we had no problem having baby number one, baby number two took over 2.5 years. I was using Metformin, letrozole cd3-7, ovidrel trigger shot cd 15, back to back IUI cd16 and cd17 with 12 million sperm post wash each time. Got our BFP and I'm currently 32 weeks with a healthy baby. Good luck!!

I hope your experience is like the other two who just posted they were lucky with the first IUI! I'm on my 5th IUI cycle, but 3 ended up cancelled due to poor response to meds.  (Diminished ovarian reserve).  It took a few cycles to figure out what meds and doses work for me.  The 1st full IUI failed, I'm in TWW for my 2nd one now.
