It depends on emotional maturity, disparity between levels of independence, and growth rate. If you can't grow together you'll grow apart. At younger ages these changes are more intense and sporadic.

There's not a "perfect age" for marriage. It solely depends on the couple. Some people get married at 18 and are together until they die, while some get married at 32 and are together for a few years. 
Anything you and your significant other don't see eye to eye on can create hurdles in the relationship. But it's up to the two of you to decide if you can work past it or not. 
Your marriage will only thrive if you make it. No matter what your age, if you don't try your best everyday to be husband and wife to each other, your marriage can fall apart beneath you and you'll realize it when it's almost too late
