What all to pack for hospital for c-section birth?

Also what all will I need at home for after? Trying to get it all before I go in to have my c-section in 8 weeks. Thanks in advance!

High waisted underwear! You will also use the hospital undies and if I were you I would ask for more everyday. They were the greatest.
Loose and comfortable pj pants or even a nightgown and a robe. That way nothing rubs against your incision site.

Nursing tanks are a must as well. I have 5 of them that I rotate between.

You will be rediculously sweaty the first few days after surgery. Like more sweaty then you've ever been in your life. And itchy! Take the pain meds they offer. You will want to stay ahead of the pain. Get up and move around. It sucks but it will make you feel better so much faster.

My suggestion is don't just buy the granny undies and put them in your hospital bag, try them on! 
I know there will be a big belly in the way, but seriously try them on and see where they sit.
I bought granny undies and then when I went to put them on in the hospital after my c section, they didn't sit right and rolled down onto my incision. It was terrible! 
Alternatively, i actually found maternity underwear to be THE BEST. Because they are designed to sit well below the pubic line, they are perfect for c section incisions :)

The mesh panties that they give your are awesome. I washed them and wore them for about two weeks afterwards. Maternity pant as well and night gowns are a must.

I brought two nighties, toiletries, slippers, two flannels to wear over my nighties to walk around the ward. Also my phone and charger, a camera and charger. Plus maternity pants and nursing bra and top to wear home. Trust me maternity pants were best since like another poster stated, you do not want anything pressing on your incision. Also wear the mesh panties they provide, they are so comfy after a csection! Good luck!! It really was not bad.

Clothes and toiletries for 3 days.  You won't want anything touching your incision so nightgowns or very loose pants that don't hug your skin are ideal. A robe or cardigan is good, also no slip socks or flip flops. Get comfy granny panties.

Bath robe saved my life !!!! It was soft and warm. Plus I could just whip my boob out lol. Clothes were very uncomfortable so I worked a dress home. But bath robe all the way

Definetly pack something that wont rub on ur incision such as a gown/dress or loose pjs and a t shirt , some socks as hospitals r super cold ,ur own pillow , granny panties lol those will b ur friend for awhile since it wont b rubbing on ur incision. I dnt think u will need pads as the hospital provides bt when u do get home i suggest adult diapers they r the best and better then wearing those annoying pads. And wear ur tummy binder u will feel more comfortable with it on and it will help with ur post partum body go bk to normal.
