So we have been TTC for about 4 months now (took a break mid last year and had early miscarriage back in 2014) and this cycle there have been some weird comments from the kids. My 17yr old stepdaughter said she had a dream that I was pregnant but didn't tell her until she moved out (she graduated early and moved in with her grandma last week to help her after some surgeries). I said "that's weird". We've talked about having another in front of her in general but never told her we are actually TTC (cause what teenager wants to hear that their parents are doing that lol)

Then last week our 5 1/2 year old (who we have told that we want another baby..And he's actually happy about it at this age) randomly said to me after I picked him up from school "mommy if you had a baby boy I'd help take care of him and teach him how to play. If you had a baby girl I would keep her safe. If anyone was mean to her I'd beat them up and throw them in the trash can." I told him it was nice he'd want to be good to him/her (told him he shouldn't beat anyone up) and we went about our day.

Well today he randomly said "mommy when you have a baby how big will your belly get?" ...I gestured and said "when you were in my belly it got this big". His eyes got big and he said "oh..That's a lot bigger than your belly right now...But I think there's already a baby in there".....I'm 5dpo 😯
