5 weeks and constantly on the boob?

My son eats, takes a short nap and then cries to eat again. Is he not getting enough? Could this be a wonder week? Growth spurt?

Typical! At least for my daughter.. she eats probably every 1 1/2 hours.. at night she can go 3 hours

It's normal for newborns to nurse frequently. They do hit many growth spurts, need lots of comforting, and are building up milk supply to accommodate rapid growth. With all of that going on, they sometimes seem like they're attached to the boob 24/7!

I swear my son lives on my boobs basically until last week when we weaned. He's 18 months old😅 but yes it's normal I remember a day when we didn't even get up all day because he would scream and cry the second he was off the boob she. He was about that age
