NO ITS NOT AN ABORTION. 
Plan b: said to prevent pregnancy by preventing ovulation and preventing implantation but it's only PROVEN to prevent ovulation. That being said, if you've already ovulated and had sex and then took the plan b it probably didn't work. And if you take it already pregnant it won't harm an existing pregnancy. You could probably find all of the information above ON THE BOX. Or IN THE PAMPLET THAT COMES WITH THE BOX. plan b is basically a higher dose of the same synthetic hormones in birth control pills. 
You know what else prevents implantation? IUDs. Do you think birth control is abortion? Come on. 
There is plan B. And then there is the real abortion pill RU486. Know the difference.
