Menstrual Cup

Thinking about changing to the menstrual cup! Tampons have become painful (I have been using them for almost 3-4years now), even when I know they are inserted right so I thought maybe this would hurt less? I am not sure! Pads are very inconvenient and always finding them not staying in place even when I use the wings, or them leaking quite a bit or NOT securing my underwear 100%! It is quite frustrating and just want to be done with it all. Anyone have any advice? If so it would be really helpful!!
